Jetty park has the widest beach in the area. The
Jetty traps sand making it very shallow, so it's great for first time
surfers, boogie boarders and those who can't swim well. It also has
lifeguards year round. Surfing is limited to 2oo yards
south of the Jetty due to people in the water. That's fine, the best break for
surfing is there, straight out from the Ron Jon's resort anyway.
Jetty Park is ideal for campers, boasting a general store, tent and RV
sites and a short walk or drive to Dining at the Port like
Rusty's. Don't have a fishing license or do you have family
visiting you from out of Florida and would like to take fishing?
No Problem the fishing pier is open 24 hours and does
not require a fishing license! It is
also equipped with cleaning areas and running water.
